Shipping & Returns
ORDERING, STORAGE AND RECEIVING TILES
It is the customers responsibility to check their order at the time of purchase or delivery including but not limited to: the dimensions, colours, shade variations, quality, quantity and any other detail shown on any orders. All tiles should be checked for colour, size and quality before being laid. Installation of the tiles constitutes acceptance. No claims will be entertained after fixing. Measurement and quantities must be thoroughly checked with your tiler or builder before being finalised. Astro Tile Bathurst take no responsibility for the accuracy of the quantity of product, which you have ordered. All products sold by Astro Tile Bathurst are to be fixed and applied in accordance with the manufactures instructions and all goods must be used in accordance with recognised industry standards. No responsibility will be accepted by Astro Tile Bathurst for damage which occurs from the use of acids in cleaning or any other procedure which is not recommended by the manufacturer. Please check that you have sufficient product before tiling as no guarantee is given that subsequent supplies of the same product will be available or will match in shade from the same batch previously purchased.
Delivery of Tiles
Astro Tile Bathurst will use reasonable endeavors to deliver goods to the customer on the estimated delivery date during Astro Tile Bathurst’s normal business hours of 6.30-5pm Monday to Saturday, but it is not and will not be responsible for any delay due to causes beyond its control, including (but not limited to) its manufacturing, shipping or delivery delays, strikes, force majeure and acts of God. Claims made for: Incorrect supply, short supply; or goods damaged in transit; or any discrepancies with regards to an invoice must be made within two (2) days of the delivery date, otherwise they will not be considered. For goods damaged in transit or delivery we require photographic evidence before we can commence replacing said damaged goods.
You also need to be on site to receive your order on the day of delivery. If the nominated delivery company attempts to deliver your tiles and you are not available to receive them, you will be invoiced by Astro Tile Bathurst for any costs associated with the re-delivery of your tiles at a later date. Astro Tile Bathurst are able to request the hold off of any re-delivery until associated delivery fees are paid for by you.
Return & Exchange Policy
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality but the failure does not amount to a major failure.
We will accept product returns and provide you with a replacement, refund or repair where:
The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
The product does not match its sample or description.
We recommend you retain your receipt, and document any damages or issues with photos (ideally still in original packaging) as we may require proof that you purchased the product from us and identify the cause so we can continue to make our service better in the future. Our Team Members will be able to advise you whether a refund, exchange, repair or replacement is available, and may record your proof of identification when processing a return without proof of purchase.
Unfortunately we cannot offer a change of mind refund or exchange on the following items:
Special order products
Any product/s specifically cut to size at your request
These products can still be returned if they are faulty, not fit for purpose or do not match the sample or description.
Change of mind
Astro Tile Bathurst are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or over order in quantity. Products eligible for return may incur a 30% restocking fee.
